We've got some snow..... and a little sleet!

Well we woke to about a 1/2 an inch of snow, maybe a little more...... And a little sleet coming down when we went to the barn.......

It's Saturday;
Scott's working..... Tony's making some extra cash today by running amish all day.... Scottie, well I havn't seen him all week..... He's been staying at Mandi's (yes, Tony's ex...).... Darren's sleeping (of course)..... I am relaxing on the couch right now, then cleaning & a trip to the local amish store for groceries will happen later.....

Thursday we kept Colton overnight...... We went to Jeff & Deb's for supper...... TJ & Colton played for hours.... We almost had to tie them down to eat.....

Friday was Good Friday, and I thought it was a "National Holiday"..... but guess I was wrong..... Banks were open, mail ran...... Weird, I always thought they closed for it...... Has that changed in the last few years? Anyhow, after Colton left, Scott & I were by ourselves (like always lately).... We decided to go out for supper.... We went to Blain Hotel..... It was soooo good..... But we have really been going out to eat a little too much lately..... Anyhow, after we got home we went to the barn and did fresh bedding, gave a little "extra" hay to everyone......

Tomorrow is Easter..... We will be going to Shermans Dale to Chad & Jess' for supper..... All I have to take is green bean cassarole..... We will be home the rest of the day.... getting some work done.....

My computer is FIXED!!!!

It's been a "trying" couple of weeks with this computer! It is finally fixed and working great!

We have been so busy around here..... We bought a small trailer load of hay Saturday (8 round bales) at $35 / bale..... Then we bought 2 round bales of straw for bedding..... 1 of those bales is gone already..... The big cattle pen got a complete clean out...... We have also cleaned out a nice big spot in the upper part of the barn for my meat chickens...... Lilly got a new rope, she broke her old one Saturday...... and Bear got a new chain.....

The weather hasn't been to bad around here..... A day or so of rain here and there..... But mostly still able to get most of my laundry dried outside...... Today we have 20 ~ 30 mph winds, with gusts up to 45mph..... I will attempt some laundry outside......

Well I really must run..... I'm headed for a shower.... then get to the rest of my cleaning..... I have a "new friend" coming from Loysville.... We met online, and she is interested in eggs..... She is coming at 11:00.....

WOW, it's been a while!

Sorry it's been so long since I wrote.... Between being sick, then my computer went nuts with a virus! The past 2 days or so it's been working pretty good!

We've had some nice weather this week..... I was able to get laundry out 3 days! Makes it nice...... Nothing smells better than clothes from outside!

Darlene had her baby yesterday at 3:01 in the afternoon...... baby Lauryn weighed in at 7lbs 10ozs and measured at 20 1/2 inches long...... a full head of black hair.....

Tomorrow Colton goes to get signed up for T~ball..... I still can't believe he is old enough to play ball, and go to school in a few months......

Well I must jump off here, bed early tonight..... Scott's boss will be here at 4am to pick him up.... they are headed out towards Ohio for a service call...... Please pray for safe travels...... Thanks....
